The lunch guest speaker will be the Oxford Chancellor (and last Governor of Hong Kong) Lord Patten. His lordship’s address will be on: “MY WORLD SINCE 1997”

the China Club on Saturday 11^th September 2010.

Our speaker on this occasion is the last Govenor of Hong Kong,

                       The Rt. Hon. Lord Patten of Barnes CH.

His lordship’s address will be on:

                              ‘MY WORLD SINCE 1997’

This function will begin with the serving of ROSL’s own version of the champagne

cocktail, at the China Club, at 12:15 pm. A multi-course Chinese lunch will be served from 12:45pm, with wines or soft drinks, and ending soon after 2pm with tea or coffee.

Lord Patten’s speech will be introduced, at about 1:20pm.

Postal bookings are needed in advance, and early strongly booking is recommended, with the completion of the booking form.

This function is already, in June, almost completely fully-booked.  If you would like to secure your place, please post off your booking form and cheque to ROSL as soon as you can.

The venue is the China Club, 14^th Floor, Old Bank of China Building, Bank Street, Central, Hong Kong.

This function is open to bookings by non-members, who will be most welcome.
