Our annual charity Christmas Cocktail Party will take place at The Hong Kong Club, on Wednesday, 7 December from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.  This is one of the most popular events in the Society’s calendar so come and enjoy socialising with other members, friends and colleagues in the delightful Garden Lounge with its unique view of the Hong Kong Christmas lights.  Drinks and canapés - including the ever-popular, mouth-watering roast ham and mustard will be served.  Swiss Raclette cheese with condiments will also be served at this annual event.

We are also very happy to announce that Versace has generously donated a Patent Greca on Nappa Handbag in Red, which has a retail value of HKD 13,200, to our Christmas cocktail party. This fancy collection is characterized by the use of nappa, patent leather grecas and metal charms with Versace iconic elements. Hollywood actress January Jones was the spokesperson for Versace's 2011 advertising campaign and the crazy greca bag was the highlight among all.  This bag would of course be the dream Christmas gift for yourself or anyone else really special on your list!  You will have the opportunity to walk away from the party with it by purchasing raffle tickets there.  The tickets will be priced at $100 each and all proceeds will go to this year's chosen charity.

Adhering to tradition, any income generated from this event will be donated to a charity. This year's chosen charity is Wu Zhi Qiao (Bridge to China) Charitable Foundation whose aim is to reach out to people in remote locations in China, to build the bridges they need, and to build bridges of the mind and spirit cementing peoples together.  For more information please visit http://www.bridge2china.org.  We will also be collecting any additional donations that you may wish to contribute to foundation on behalf of the charity.

For those making advanced booking and payment, the price for both members and their guests is HK$350.  The price for walk-in registration is HK$400 for both members and their guests.  Come to meet friends, support a good cause, enjoy the holiday celebration, and, perhaps, win a Versace bag all within one evening on 7 December.

Dress code is smart casual.  Jeans, T-shirts, tracksuits, shorts, shoes for sports activities and flip-flops are not acceptable. No denim may be worn at any time in the Club.  Mobile phones are not to be used in the Club.
